just shoot more bnw and you would roughly know what you need and what you don't.. filters i would recommend getting are red, orange and yellow..

I find that the filter does help to bring out the detail and contrast what you think?

The biggest problem with RED filter is it is not a friendly filter for SLR and not
good for taking picture on people. But, u never know you might like red filter on people?

Personally I like green on asia skin almost the same yellow but I like green better.

There are just too much to learn and play with b&w.
