Found a camera shop at Grandlink [which is located at paya lebar] They have MANY SLRs and other accessories like pouches for p&s cams as well as straps and flashes. It was closed when I got there but maybe someone who lives nearby could check it out?

OH and if you're there, do try out the coffee at Little Vietnam which is facing the main road. it is A-Awesome

Mr Tay is the best person on earth! He always sits me down and then gives me hour(s) of long long talks! Suddenly he will tell me that he lost a part of a camera to fix, stare at the huge pile of camera mess in front of him, and he'll tell me about how he goes off hunting for the part for the guy, free of charge (of course charge for repairing la, need to cover costs).

And he always always offers me his bnw film! And he gives cool cool tips! And if you have the time, just talk to him! As a noob, I've learnt a big load from him!

OMG WE ALL LOVE HIM!

Not sure man, I just call before I go down and ask him all I need to know (what time he closes and can I come at this time, etc). Get his name card when you go down so that you'll always have his number by your side! And address and stuff.

Mr Tay called me just a while ago regarding the lcas. He said the battery adaptor is ready, and to spread the word about it!

I'm not sure if we gotta pay for it, but I'm guessing its a yes la. Even if he doesn't want $$ for it I think its we should pay him for his hard work anyway! I don't think it'll cost more than $8, whatever it is. Give him a call to find out if you're interested!

Here's his number... 67426383

Mr Tay from De Camera Consultant has successfully made the battery holder and change the battery removal strip (the plastic thingy) into something else.

Cost of changing the plastic strip and getting the battery holder is at $8. Give him a buzz. Nice man he.
