Have you ever dreamt of your dream camera for at least every 4 out of every 7 nights? Have you ever stinged like mad, deprive yourself of new clothes just to be able to save up for a plastic camera? Or search the web for every single LC-A+ related article/picture/information/video/story day to day? That was me before i got my LC-A+.

I will never order stuffs from the US again because the wait is too disgusting. I died and resurrected countless times while waiting for my LC-A+ to come knocking on my door. Now i know why cameras are more expensive here in SG, because we pay for not dying while waiting.

Now i have her in my hands, and have been on a rampage for the past 1 week. here is my favourites of my first week with the LC-A+ and i can safely say all the hype on this camera online is not bullshit. It's really one hell of a camera.

I would like to say thanks to:
Kodak Elitechrome
Kodak Ektachrome E100G
Kodak Ektachrome E100VS
Agfa CT Precisa 100

for the cross-processed awesomeness

Been there many times my friend. Waiting for the precious camera to come was like pain all over my body. Even my gf thought I was thinking of someone else when I'm out with her and saving up, giving excuses things are so expensive when the cameras I bought as way more expensive than just a meal at macdonalds.

Beautiful set btw.

hahahah yeah man. then its like everyone around me is asking me what im saving up for. but i dare not tell them. because non-analogue buffs wont understand the greatness the LC-A+ beholds. To them its a 400 bucks plastic camera that runs on obsolete tech.

i talk to my lc-a+. do you?

@iantheman @photonomist

Yes, friends are using DSLR and digital semi-pros.. They were like... What?! with that money, you can save up and buy a Semi-Pro or maybe save a bit more can get DSLR !!!

-_-" What to do... The joy of analogue photography and that anticipation of waiting to collect your photos from the lab... Ahh... they don't get it

@iantheman Well, I do. I even kiss my film before inserting it into the camera. Fer good luck bebeh!

@awesomesther I just talked to my uncle who owns a DSLR about analogue photography. He looked so confused. He's more confused when I own 1 DSLR and 10 film cameras.

Geez~man, Your photo surely embrace the philosophy of lomography. I like your photo very much.

I also got into the same situation when i started jump into lomo world.

When i tell them i want to spend hundreds of dollars for a film camera. They reply as follows.

"Why you want to use film? Film is expensive! You are goddamn rich fellow to play with film"

"How do you know that you are taking a good shot while you can't see what you take" (I'm actually piss off by this statement)

Sometimes, people just don't understand the world around us is build upon analog variables, so i decide to record my life with analog medium.

That's why i wrote this article on lomography (It's in chinese but i hope i'm able to translate it.)

yes its my joy. every day since the day i got her i will reserve like 10 minutes of my day to have like a 'moment' with her. just lie on the bed... place it in my hands and just hold and observe her... and renewing the amusement of firing the the shutter and see how the big fat lens go.

i now use an electric toothbrush. fear me.

hahaha i just tell them that they take beautiful things for granted behind the LCD screens. And they have to undergo the experience of the anticipation/surprise/unexpectedness that analogue offers in order to understand why (funky)dudes like us like to go the warped old school way.

which is why on christmas i organised a strictly analogue christmas outing for all my 'DSLR-kids' friends to let them have a go at what i do. And just like poison they got hooked too. HAHaha beleive me now there is a HUGE hype in my Facebook circle over how the pictures turned out and i know now i might just have alot more lomo-pals than before.

Its nice to see how they use the viewfinders instead hahaha. And plus there are some in this bunch who are established freelance photographers but have totally no idea behind the analogueness. Its nice to get everyone to take a step back but achieve the unachievable with hi-tech.

Lo-fi awesomeness FTW.
