After much research and trying to figure out what the heck is the Yashica Guy battery adapter or the various battery available, does anyone or anybody knows what or where I can get the suitable batteries for the Yashica GX?

I still don't quite get it after reading much and not sure if there is such battery that can be used and found in Singapore.

i've heard and read in this forum & CS forum that the battery adapter is available either at PG Cameras @ Adelphi or The Camera Workshop @ Peninsula.
perhaps you can try & ask them?

hope it helps!

i used 2x LR44 (or SR44) battery for the GX. the 2 batteries occupy one of the battery slot and I use a metal bolt to occupy (short, complete the circuit, etc) the other battery slot. In a way, satisfying the 6V requirement. I feel its cheap and easy solution. Do take note of the material you use to fill up the gap (try to use something with very low electrical resistance). Certain metal will heat up due to resistive heating.

Hope this helps.
