Hi

I just wanted to check if theres an international standard of processing film? I came back from UK this week for CNY and popped down to Uncle Mike as recommended by most people here... and he mentioned that he cannot "push" the slide film when developing it. think its something to do with his developing machine. He's a mega nice guy though and spent ages explaining stuff to me. Anyways, I sent him 6 rolls. Test how the developing is first.

And also i checked out his sample photo album and i realise nnow that the crossprocessing in SG produces serious reds blues and greens in certain films...

When i showed Uncle Mike my photos he was bit surprised to find that some have been cross processed by my lab in London cos the colours arent as crazy and as reddish/ bluish/ greenish as the ones here.

So im wondering. is there an international standard for stuff like this?

if i cross process in UK and cross process in SG, is the effect different?

(not couunting the effect on my wallet!)
